How to apply
The Wendy Gruber Artist Grant awards $3,000 to help support a college-bound student with tuition related expenses in pursuit of a higher eduction in the fine arts. In order to be considered, the student must submit all of the required information using the link below by the annual application deadline.
The application window for the class of 2026 is closed.
The application window for students in the class of 2027 is now open.
Class of 2027 application deadline:
April 30th, 2027 at 11:59pm PST.
Application Requirements for Students
Short 1 page essay
A short essay on why you want to be an artist and how this grant would help you.
Examples of work
Three examples of your work in drawing, painting, sculpture, or illustration.
Financial Need
Confirmation of demonstrated financial need. Financial need can be described in a brief letter from the artist.
Teacher Sponsor
Name, phone, and email of a sponsoring teacher whom we can contact for recommendation
